Could getting off my birth control pill be cause me migraines?

I suffer from migraines but it's very special, like once every 5 yrs, but since ultimate week, i've been getting massive migraines at different time throughout the daytime. is it possible that getting off the birth control pill might be cause this? I've been on the pill for 2.5yrs.

It's possible. Oral contraceptives may bring migraines when you initially start taking them, even if you've never had them previously. They can worsen migraine severity too. Oral contraceptives can also improve or grow less the occurence of migraines. Maybe the pills have be suppressing your migraines and now that you're rotten of them, the migraines have returned. It's not that the pills are cause them directly. It may be the fact that the hormones are no longer within your system suppressing your migraines.

What is ovulation and how do i know when i start ovulating?

i agree with scott, i hold been a migraine survivor for over 20 years. i dont not individually have hormonal migraine but i know abundant that do. hormones play a large division for some. going off the pill would drastically adapt your hormones and it may "set you off"

What do you think?
