17yr old Needs relieve ASAP! Unusual menstrual bleeding?

I know I need to bestow info. It' will sound liberal of personal and it is. Please be mature.
I'm 17 and I enjoy been sexually helpful with ONLY one partner for going on for a year now. I hold been on birth control(orthocyclene lo) for just about 7 months, and I'm now on the Nuva Ring. I own used the NR for about 5 months and in recent times this period, I notice that the blood is not red like usual but hugely dark brown. Its alarming because I enjoy also had deeply more cramps. What could this be a sign of? I cant find anything online, talking to my mom is out because she's too unused to take me seriously(she know about my sexual activity).
I'm worried more or less pregnancy. If anyone has any suggestion or info please share it. Thanks so much.

The cramping could be because of the uterine contact next to the device... and all birth control methods can changeover the consistency of the discharge. Make sure everything is in place with a stop by to the doctor.
