PCOS. Help.?
Also, I have these ''pimples'' on my chin. They aren't really though. They are kinda close to cysts, but they don't get significant or red, you can just squeeze them out. There are are lot of them sort of surrounded by an H shape beneath my chin. The skin on my chin is also a darker color, it looks tanner. Could any of this be a symptom of PCOS?
Also my cheeks are healthy-looking, like I'm blushing a bit. But the skin is dry a.d bumpy. tThe back of my upper arms are also close to that. My cheeks have kinda longer than majority hair, not approaching really bad but loner than mundane. Are these symptoms of PCOS?
I am 15 years old, 5'11'', and a bit overweight, I weigh 285 lbs. I am particularly active though and don't put away tons of junk food. But I only can't lose the weight/ fat.
Please assistance if you can.Thanks.

It definitely sounds close to PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome). It stems from hormone imbalances within your body. The biggest tell-tale sign is a lack of a extent, or very irregular period. It does run in the ancestral. The hormone imbalance is what is cause the acne, skin issues, and hair. Also, one of the symptoms is dark patches of skin on your body (especially in the armpit and groin area). Also, person overweight and not being competent to lose it is a symptom. Basically your body is secreting too much insulin, which cause the weight issues (for women near PCOS, the weight is collectively in the stomach region). Don't thieve this as concrete, you need to move about to your doctor and get if truth be told diagnosed. Also, check out the websites below, they'll help you out profoundly. The only channel to know for sure is to see your doctor about it. From what you describe it seem very plausible that you do have PCOS. What is taking place is that the eggs in your ovaries are not fully maturing, and so not self released, causing multiple cysts to form. The cysts impose your ovaries to overproduce testosterone (causing the acne and hair problems), which is also converted into insulin through a chemical process I'm not going to go in here. The insulin is what causes you to gain substance and not be able to lose it.There are miscellaneous treatments that doctors prescribe for PCOS, the most common man the birth control pill. Depending on your specific case, you may also be prescribed metformin, a diabetes drug that can help near the insulin resistance that comes with PCOS.
