Is the DIAPHRAM for contraception realiable?
Answers:
Could it be stress or pregnancy?
It's not adjectives that great as a contraceptive. Out of 100 women who use it, 16 will get pregnant in a year... and even with unflawed use (which involves not doing any tricky sexual positions which may put it out of shape or taking it out smaller amount than six hours after intercourse, among other things), 6/100 women will get pregnant.
You can't take off a diaphragm in place for more than 24 hours. A given diaphragm can final about a year if you nick good trouble of it, but it needs to be refitted if you administer birth, gain or lose ~15 lbs, or find it is uncomfortable.
The disappointment rate with average use is 20%, and next to perfect almost 14% (at least to be exact what the leaflet that I used to achieve with my pills said). So, used alone, they are not really reliable. If you use them with a spermicide, and remember to use it adjectives the time, it would probably be more efficient, but it's still much more hassle than condoms, which are safer.
