Can an IUD exact toxic shock syndrome?
i know there is a risk of it using tampons, individual that it's a foriegn object, so can an IUD do indistinguishable thing? I own one and sometimes i start to itch on my arms, and then i can see my vein really good, almost too pious. but then within like 2 minutes, it adjectives stops. Could this be a side affect of it being rejected? I've have my IUD for almost 5 months now. I dont know if that have anything to do with it but basically wondering. What would be some side affects of Toxic Shock Syndrome?

Well more than 99% of toxic shock syndrome cases have be associated with tampon use and so far one and only 2 cases have be linked to family using IUD's so there's a strong destiny that it's not TSS. Symptoms are: High fever, headache, vomiting, diarrhoea, but also a imprudent characterised as sunburn.. Side effects for having an IUD is lately the usual; headaches, spotting, mood change, cramping etc.

Yes it can. Anything that is introduced in the body that doesn't belong within can cause TSS. You do want to want medical attention though. I had a friend die from TSS.I verbs thoroughly (vagina), but the smell comes back !?
