Polycystic Ovaries/Cramping?

I have POS and enjoy not had a interval since December (Christmas to be exact). I visited my gynecologist on Wednesday and told her that these previous three months I have be having moderate cramping. What feel like menstrual cramps. I hold them all the time. She prescribed a 10 hours of daylight dosage of progesterone to get my time going. I understand that I will enjoy a period 2 days after completing this cycle of pills. However, the cramping I'm have is getting worse. Is this because of the pill she gave me? I'm wondering if it's because my body is going to acquire ready to enjoy a period. Seems sensitive of strange, considering I've only be on it for 2 days, I was somewhat concerned that I might have a larger cyst. I am programmed for an ultrasound in a couple of months. She also mentioned a partial hysterectiomy. Any thoughts? I'm for a while freaked out, and A LOT uncomfortable.....

Girls aid?!?!?

Are you sure it's cramping and not the cysts on your ovaries? They can be painful. But I don't know why someone would hold cramps when not getting their period.
