I really think you should shift see a gyno or a doctor you feel really comfortable near because it doesn't sound so average. I understand that after have babies you do have some internal scar which cause throbbing during sex (for me anyway) but yours sounds a little to sensitive to be "normal" especially near the numbing sensation you describe. I sleep in a ball as ably and have never feel what your describing so I can only recommend you be see by a professional. Sex should return to fun sometime after childbirth and you both need it to be pleasurable so don't delay.
