I took the Deprovera shot for 3 months and I'm switching back to the pill. When should I bear them?
I was singular on the shot for 3 months and I didn't like the side effects, so I'm switching pay for to birth control pills. My doctor said I should start my pills when my period starts. I be due to get another shot yesterday, and I haven't gotten a interval. How long should I expect to get my term? I was singular on it for 3 months and I started spotting a couple days ago, but it stopped.
My fiance and I aren't ready to own a child yet, so should I start the pills immediately, without have a period? Or should I continue to get my extent and then start the pills and use condoms surrounded by the meantime? I was reading how period can be irregular after the shot and it could be MONTHS til I get my spell but I've been on it for such a jiffy, so I don't know how much I'd be affected. I don't know whether to start the pills now or loaf til my period. Would it be fruitless for my body to start the pill right after the shot without have a period? Any feedback would be appreciated. I'm surprised your doctor didn't just own you do a "Sunday start" on the pills when you were due for your subsequent Depo shot. If it were me, I'd turn ahead and start my pills ASAP (like today).
The key is to NOT hold any unprotected sex... so now that the shot have worn off, no sex until you've taken your pills for at most minuscule a week.
I think you should check beside your doctor about whether or not in that's a reason that he or she didn't put in the picture you to just start your pills. If in attendance isn't a reason (based on your medical history) after you can probably start them. But, you won't be protected until you've take them for 7 days.
BTW-- you're right in the region of periods anyone irregular. When I switched to the pill after two years on Depo, I didn't get a time of year for three months even using the pill. But, my doctor had me start my pills on the daytime I would have generally gotten a shot.
