Birth Control and Hypoglycemia (low blood sugar)?

I have have low blood sugar for the past couple years and thought (and possibly is) due to genetics. But very soon i realize... I think that ever since I go on birth control, I have trouble controlling my blood sugar. I be on the patch for 2.5 years and now i am switching to a pill. During my spell, when I am not intaking hormones, I don't have much trouble beside my blood sugar. Is there a nouns? and does anyone know of a certain type of birth control that have the least side effects for hypoglycemia? (this is not exactly diabetes)

Stopped Yasmin Pill in Feb, Still no time of year?

Wow - I've never heard of that. I surmise I'm hypoglycemic (every doctor I've ever talked to roughly speaking it either say there's no such point or they say nearby's no way to diagnose it - I don't believe any - so I don't really know if I have it or not). I've notice it since I was surrounded by college, which was around one and the same time I went on the pill. I go off the pill final July (my husband and I are trying to get pregnant) and I've only just noticed that I don't enjoy as many symptoms of hypoglycemia as I used to. I newly figured I be getting used to it! Maybe you're right and my symptoms were due to (or made worse by) the birth control. That give me more to think going on for for when I'm done having kids and shift back on birth control (I enjoy to take something - I hold PCOS so I don't get regular periods).

The advantages of the pill?

I purely read an article in Diabetic Living almost that. You are not the only one experiencing this problem! In reality, most of the common types of birth control can wreak fluctuation in blood sugars, whether you are diabetic or not.

It seem like in that are no reliable birth control methods that don't have leading side effects. We are using the natural house planning method, but you have to collect info adjectives throughout the month and use condoms and or abstinence during your most fertile/desiring sex time of the month. It sucks in ways, but it is better than the hypoglycemia and hormonal side effects to me. Also, we want a few more kids but not a ton so it's not a appropriate choice if you really want to not get pregnant. It have a 25% failure rate.
