How can I gain weight during pregnancy without eating too many calories?

Before I was pregnant I weigh 275. It was not from poor intake habits as I singular ate 700 calories daily and walk a mile a day and 30 minutes, not to mention I worked 8 hour days. My doctor found out. When I found out I as pregnant, I started ingestion 2800 calories daily. However I am very soon 24 weeks pregnant and weigh 225. My doctors said I need to gain substance but am still losing. My doctor said that with the hypothyroid medication I would lose shipment (he said that it is slower because I am pregnant) and more weight afterwards. I am a reliable calorie recorder as I have be fat and thought if I reduced my calories and excercised and ate robust then I would lose immensity. Now that I am pregnant I record my calories to gross sure I am getting enough calories to provide nutrition to me and our child but am losing mass. The doctor said our baby girl is thriving, but I eat so much as is and find it tough to take within 2800 calories sometimes.
