How to stop bleeding after intercourse?

Me & my fiance had sex today, I started bleeding during, and I am still bleeding. This have never happened to me earlier, and I do not start my period for another week, and I am pretty regular, because of birth control. I do not hold any STDs or an infection I am aware of. The bleeding is not very creamy it's really light, and when I budge pee it is bright red, when I wipe. What could this be, and should I worry, or purely wait it out?

Post coital bleeding can occur if you have an injury or split inside your vagina. Even a small cut to the skin can result in quite seriously of bleeding. Just observe the symptoms for the subsequent few days. If the bleeding doesn't resolve or becomes drastically heavy, if in that's pain, foul discharge or odor later you'll need to be checked for an infection. Also if it resolves this time but occur the next time you hold sex, then it would be best to see your doc. Hope this help
