Is anybody afraid of going to the doctors office,and getting a shot?
I dont know why,Ive always be afraid to go to the doctors to find flu shots etc.

i've have blood drawn so many times.. I could practically do it myself.. needles do not frighten me at all.
Shots aren’t so discouraging it mostly hurts when the shot is putting something in not getting something out. The pressure of the air moved out over hurts. And afterwards its really sore. But nothing big. Just be brave hun.

I am afraid of shots. Even though I am diabetic and have to question paper myself like up to 3 times a daylight, any other type of needle give me the shakes. I get so anxious and nervous. I hold to usually have someone's paw to hold, and that normally does sustain me. This yr I refused to consent to the nurse give me the flu shot until my friend be right next to me squeezing my free foot and distracting me. Not usually.I have have a flu shot every year since I was 15 and ultimate year also had a tetanus shot. The nurse at my doctor's clinic know that I am o.k as long as I don't see the needles so she makes sure it is out of verbs, but this year I needed to see the doctor as well so he did it and he wasn't aware of my small problem. After he have done his examination get me to sit on bed and he went and get the flu shot. He came wager on in and took the 3 inch long device out of its box and plastic wrapping and after stood in front of me and started discussion to me while he rubbed the syringe/needle between his hands to thaw out it up a bit and tears started to spring into my eyes and he said "You're not scared of for a while needle are you." My reply "No, I lately don'r t like looking at them?" and next to that he aplogized and then immediately did what he had to do and afterwards gave me a hug and said "All done, you where on earth very brave". And I give him a smile.
