Depo provera side affects?

hello i was on the depo provera for 9 months i have been on it once up to that time when i was younger i get off of it grounds my husband and i wanted to attain pregnant it took 3 years of trying to finally conceive with 1 miscarriage back that other than than no other side affects except for three months depression when i first received the shot but it go away.but my doctor put me back on it after have my child i have have hair loss, depresion, cramping pains heart palipitations, hindmost pain, collar pain, anxiety extraordinarily emotional i would cry for no principle, panick attacks and i am a very unflappable relaxed happy entity i have be having 3 ordinary periods a month remaining 10 days i have also enjoy 2 indents in the muscle in by butt check where i get the shot and now hold a numbing pain down my leg i be totally fine and periods be normal after have my child it all started after discussion the shot oh yeah it has be nine months since i have be off of it and i enjoy also been have white milky nipple discharge and i stopped breast feeding a year and a few months ago i be just wondering could anyone please explain to me if they have hear anything about a class commotion lawsuit against depo provera for these side effects they say these side affects are occasional cases but i have read so lots different woman's horror stories that pretty much are all indistinguishable so to me it doesn't seem to be as special as they make it appear i also read that depo provera is used to castrate sex offenders if I would hold known what i know now i would own never taken it sorry to write such a long post but a really think woman should not be using depo provera and i would really approaching to join a class undertaking lawsuit if i can or if there are any or how to find out how to achieve one started i think it have to many woman that shouldn't hold to just agreement with the side affects the company should sticky label that they are common side affects not unusual. i hope this post has help. I totally agree near you Depo is a horrible drug. I was on it for over 4 years, I know. The undamaged four years I was on it, I didn't acquire my period. I be young (19-23) so I didn't know how inadequately this will affect my body, the doctor didn't tell me any. In fact the merely "side affects" they told me about be weight gain, a strapping flow the first month on the shot, then the possibility of no period. I had sever shipment gain (35 pounds), sever hair loss, mood swings, depression, almost everything you have. The doctor never wanted to plead guilty a like to my sicknesses to the Depo. It wasn't until I bring back fed up and did my own research that I found out how unpromising it was. I get off Depo because my husband and I needed to have a babe, of course we though - bring back off the shot, go and get pregnant. Luckily for us it only took 4 months of serious trying (sex everyday). I doubt in that is a class action imperative suit going on, and even if there be your recovery would not even cover you expenses to persue the suit. I'm sorry you have to go through what you did. I know a short time ago how you feel and I hope you find better soon, it takes a while to get hold of out of your system.

Well, I was on Depo for over 9 years, and I never have any problems until about the final 9 months that I was on it. My "side effects" be not as severe as yours, but you have to know that by CHOOSING to hold a prescription drug, you are agreeing to any and all side effects that could go off and you are the only one responsible for your ruling to take it. I come up with that a lawsuit is just another channel to get rich breakneck in our overly litigious society. You should be obliged that you are no longer on the drug and move on beside your life. It will single cause you more anxiety and throbbing if you were to try to pursue the drug company.

Hi, i understand exactly what you are going through i be on Depo provera about 6 years ago i hada few side effects zilch major but i be assured it was'nt cause them. then three years ago i started it again and straight after the first jag i started getting a complete bunch of side effects many of the ones you hold described and more, It is now 3 years subsequently and i am still working on getting rid of the last of the side effects! within is no class action suits against the company who produces and patent it for that matter or any other medical institutes for prescribing it. I presonally have a feeling this is wrong.
I understand what the women above me said that by taking a drug you are agreeing to the side effects. but alot of the side effects never used to be stated on the drug until lately i think ?and some side effects are'nt noted. And as you said it is made out to be that the side effects will come up once contained by a blue moon, when that is most for sure not the case! I enjoy read so many stories of women and children primarily with such severe side effects from this ridiculous drug. Also i would never of considered depo provera if my doctor have'nt been the one who have recommended it to me and assured me that at most i would probally only gain a few pounds on it. and specifically the case next to most women. Also the drug is mostly prescribed to teenagers as it is one of the cheapest forms of contraceptives on the market today as the company who produces it have produced and patented the chemical form of progesterone they use in the drug thats what make it so cheap and dangerous. And of the teenagers who enjoy been prescribed it alot of them own ended up next to severe side effects also including infertility!! If there be a lawsuit i think most women would be on the bandwagon appreciation for the post a lot of women call for to hear about this horrible drug.

I have my period on March 10, Then i have it on April 2. Is this normal?

Depo is unpromising. There are no lawsuits that I am aware of for the shot. I have have a h3ll of a time with the shot too. What a story do I enjoy to tell you. I'm just 15 and I use to be the happy pubescent, hung out at the mall, be going to be on the cheerleading team, etc. Oh, and for me, I gain 5lbs of water bulk when it started wearing off

Here are a list of my side effects:
- gain 18 lbs (which I struggle to lose
- 2 migraines and I've never had any beforehand the shot
- increased appetite
- excess fatigue (I would sleep for 18 hours straight and could never get up)
- cravings
- moodiness
- chills (which may/may not be associated beside the Depo_
- a 3 month CONSTANT long period that I enjoy yet to fix (going to GYN on Wed)
