Am I supposed to refridgerate...?

My pharmacist told me to keep Nuvaring refridgerated until I was ready to use it so I do but I just read on their website that I should store it at room temp. will refridgerating it decrease it's effectiveness? I'm confused.

how come you want to put us down?

I just read this today on a website. It states:"Unopened NuvaRing® packs will expire in four months unless stored in the refrigerator. If unopened NuvaRing® packs are stored in temperatures greater than 86° the effectiveness may be lessened.". If you received more than one Nuva Ring that may be why they told you to refrigerate them. The link is below. The second link also verifies the information.

Pharmacists aren't God. The product makers test the effectiveness in many conditions and recommend the best temperature range. I would stick with what the manufacturer suggests.
