Answers:
It shouldn't hurt at all, and if it does, you inevitability to tell the doctor so that he or she can integer out what's wrong.
During a pap smear, you might have somewhat pinching sensation, but that's it. The speculum might be uncomfortable if you own a full bladder as well, while it's start.
Furthermore, the doctor will perform a bi-manual palpitation of your belly to feel your uterus and ovaries. This may be slightly discomfited as they will be pressing on your lower belly (and may be even more so if you have a full bladder).
Again, it should NOT hurt. Just relax, lug deep breaths and it'll be over in the past you know it.

It all depends on how comfortable you are beside your doctor. Choose a woman if you think that would minister to you (I know it did for me).
Tell your doctor that you are nervous. They will notify you everything they need to do earlier they do it, so there will be no surprises.
Know that they do this ALL light of day EVERY day, and they are professionals. It's never pleasant, but you solitary have to step once a year! It's very, extraordinarily important that you progress for health reason.
The hysterical pain outweighs the physical misery.
Does stress really affect YOUR period?
It can hurt a bit bit when the speculum is first opened but this vary for each human being. There is discomfort to slight pain but most doctors are fundamentally gentle. Get it done by a doctor you trust- so your nearest and dearest doctor, or go to a gyno who does that giving of procedure every day. It isn't too fruitless. It is better to get it done to receive checkups and stay healthy, consequently not getting it done. Maybe get a friend or family beneficiary to wait next to you. First of adjectives, try to see a midwife if possible. The speculum is smaller than a man's penis.
The most historic thing is to relax. If you worried up, your vaginal muscles tense up, too, and the exam will be more self-conscious.
It's fear and anxiety that incentive a person to nervous up,and then it can hurt.
As you pull the wool over your eyes there, try to relax your forehead, your mouth and your throat. When you do this, your vaginal muscles will readily relax, also.
Right before she inserts the speculum, run a breath. Then, exhale slowly while she inserts it. This also aids in relaxation.
It only take a minute. Really, it's no big deal.
Nothing to worry...in recent times relax
