KY Intense Gel for women not worth the risk?

My girlfriend recently tried KY Intense Gel for women and experienced a severe burning sensation. In exploring KY's ingredients, I found it contains Propylene Glycol, which is a skin irritant that most doctors and car mechanics (its also used in anti freeze) wouldn't recommend that you put on your skin consent to alone the clitoris.

In other words, isn't it dangerous stuff that's not worth the risk?

There are several other high quality womanly arousal products on the market that many consider to be better and definitely much safer the KY Intense Arousal gel, such as G Female Stimulating Gel which interestingly satisfactory costs less and doesn't contain any dangerous ingredients.
Answers:
That is one product I will not be buying anytime soon. To me it doens't sound close to its worth the risk. Thanks for the info.
I wouldn't take the risk if the gel contains those ingredients. Many products have ingredients that could be harmful and it's biddable you've done research. I'm very picky about the shampoo, soap, and skin cream I use.
not sure, but watch out!
Call the 1-800 number for KY and let them know your concerns.
If the propolene glycol is bonded to another chemical in the gel, it probably wasn't the inflict of the burning. It is in many products (gels, creams, and ointments of adjectives kinds) and generally safe as such. As an active ingredient, if it be used as such, the amount would be very small.

If I recall correctly, the KY intense product contains niacin as the active warm ingredient, and can cause 'severe warming' in some women. Other products contain menthol, which some have similar reaction to. A third ingredient that can be a problem for some (and I can't recall the name of it) is in the KY his & hers.

Just remember what she is overly sensitive to and other check the label of any product you might want to use.

How a chemical is bonded makes a difference in whether or not it is risk-free. Both sodium and chloride are extremely dangerous alone, but as table salt, we use it everyday :-) Don't worry give or take a few the propolene glycol so much.
