Can Cipro interfere beside your menstrual cycle?

I was on the antibiotic, Cipro for the last 10 days due to a UTI. I should have started my extent sometime between now and nest week. I started spotting very little yesterday, and still continue to spot even very soon, which is not normal for me. Does anybody know if Cipro can cause your menstrual cycle to be abnormal within any way?

It is a immensely strong antibiotic so it might have some effect on your cycle, especially if you are on the pill. Spotting is not that uncommon if you are recovering from an infection. If you don't own a normal period next month, later you might have cause for alarm, but for this month, unless you might be pregnant, just continue and see if the regular flow occurs.
