Birth Control And Irregular Eating Habits?

I was on Depo and have switched to Ortho-Cyclen. I've been on the birth control pills for 12 days, and I hold them at 9PM each night. The problem is, I don't eat supper at indistinguishable time each night. (I work a crazy night shift respectively weekend and I'm so upside-down during the week that I don't force myself to eat at certain times and just devour when I get hungry)

So sometimes I'll have my supper a half hour back I take my pill... Sometimes I'm eating while I take my pill... Yesterday I ate at 7, but I deem I ate too much and was still feeling quite full when I took my pill. Other days I'm taking the pill on an not in use stomach..

Even though I'm taking my pill at the same time each day, will my crazy intake schedule effect the absorption of the pill?

Thanks!
Answers:
No, as long as you are taking the pill at the same time respectively day/night.
it shouldnt construct a difference Source(s): on birth control with weird eating customs and no babies in sight
Birth control can be taken on an empty stomach. It is apt that you take it at the same time each time, as this makes it most effective. Some medications approaching antibiotics can irritate the stomach and make you feel nauseous, and this is why it is recommended to purloin them with a glass of milk or a bit to eat. The birth control pill is not one of these.
No that shouldn't matter at all.
