i was just wondering can break through bleeding be light and heavily built or like a medium flow? I am on birth control i am on my second pack i was break through bleeding later month to i was just curious thank you .

The bleeding is usually light, similar to spotting. Smokers are especially prone to breakthrough bleeding when taking oral contraceptives. Most women find it stops after 1-2 cycles. If it doesn't stop on its own you might consider changing your contraceptive or trying something non-hormonal.
