Why does my menstrual cycle lone come every other month?

I seem to only get a time of year every other month; this has been happening over the closing year. I am 22 & sexually active with a bf, but not trying to conceive.

This has happen to me before and I totally freaked out at first! Then I was told that this could mean you are simply skipping a side. Your ovaries appropriate turns dropping eggs and one of your sides may just be slackin'. If it continues you may want to call your doctor just to be sure. Source(s): Personal experience
