I'm 12 years of age, weigh 95 lbs, and 5'0. my sister got her first time of year 3 months before her 13th bday. and yeah i know im different from my sister but we still share some genes because were sisters. but right now its 4 months formerly my 13th birthday. I'm afraid I'm gonna get mine when I'm in school because 3 months until that time my birthday is the very end of september. :/

okay well yes you are different from your sister but usually within a family all the woman start abou when there mother did at that age.. and from arm pit down pubic hair all that yes you are soon to start your period. most plausible you will start when your going to school but that doesnt mean you have to start while your contained by class or what not.. im sure your scared about that but there is a few things you can do to alleviate your mind. talk to you mom about getting some panty liners and wear them everyday to college you can not see them and are very thin.. and if you happen to start at arts school you would get blood all over you pants. second own your self a few things in your purse so if you do start at school. like a wipe maybe a tampon but ill tell you i couldnt wear tampons at first i have no idea how to use them and it took time to get used to and figure out why it be so uncomfertable.. also try talking to you mom if you do start at school ask if you would be abl to come home that day as resourcefully. IF YOU START while at school.. i do believe you are about to start your period you are going through puberty as of right very soon you just dont have the period but. so just be on the look out for yourself do as i say wear panty liners and pack a couple pad in your purse/ backpack just in valise.. good luck in becoming a woman a wonderful part of life span.
You're right, everyones different. If I were you, I'd maintain a few pads hidden in my locker as all right as an extra pair of pants (or shorts) just surrounded by case. You will most likely start your period around impossible to tell apart time as your sister.. Hope this helps! good luck and God Bless =]
There isn't any way to predicate when your extent will show up in your pants one day, but you can splotch down your symptoms starting now and figure out when in the month it may start contained by the upcoming months.
You'll be prepared for it and actually have a better understanding when it will come AND you'll be prepared....if you want to.

Some girls gain different symptoms from others.

First, order your first period kit from Kotex at the following join:

Then you want to print off a blank calendar for the next few months. You can decorate the calendar so it's not so boring or so it blends into your room, binder, or notebook.
What Do I Record on the Calendar?

You will want to create a saga of symbols to represent various symptoms that will arise as your body matures and prepares for your period. I usually use colors and three simple symbols ~ circle, square, and triangle.

What Changes Should I Expect?

Emotions ~ Anger, Bawling, Irritable, Mellow, Rage, Sadness, Screaming, Weepy

Physical ~ Larger, Heavier, Taller, Hair Growth surrounded by Underarms & Pubic Area, Abdominal & Intestinal Cramps, White Creamy Discharge, Spotting, Mixed Discharge with White/Red Cords/Stringy, Tender Breasts (hurt, irritated, or itchy), Uterine Discharge for Monthly Cycle.

Psychological ~ Self Image, Relationships With Others, Moods, Sexuality and Future Outlook both Emotional & Relational

Each time my daughter had an emotional outburst we record a coloured circle on the calendar. These feelings included anger, rage, & screaming as a red circle, bawling, crying, tearing, & weeping as a blue circle, and impatientience, irritability, malicious & disagree ability as a green circle. Then are all symptoms of your hormones and will affect all your relationships and social groups.

I own how to deal with cramps, what products to use, what symptoms mean what, etc. located on my expanded answers verbs because there isn't enough room for everything you want to know. Source(s): http://ziggiesyahooanswers.blogspot.com
