I freshly get over a a yeast infection....but.....?

I was wondering, someone told me that even after washing panties you wore during the infection, you can still get the infection from them. I read contained by a medical journal that yeast dies on contact with the air because here is nothing for them to feed off of (thus why bread rises solely to a certain point), but do I still need to iron my panties after washing them and after drying them in the hot dryer?

It is doubtful that any yeast could survive the heat of a mundane dryer. I don't think you have anything to worry going on for. If you are concerned, add a cup of white distilled vinegar to your wash and wash adjectives your underwear. But, honestly, you don't need to worry.
