What r somethings that could come up when i travel on birth control?

Birth control made me crazy. Also, I didn't like the idea of taking a medicine/putting a chemical in my body everyday i.e. not necessary to keep me healthy, so I stopped taking it. Also, it's a relatively clean drug, and they are just now beginning to see what some of the long-term effects of it are, and I'm not cool near being a guinea pig. It can also be very expensive depending on your health coverage. Condoms are extremely effective.
The most common side effects of the birth control pills include nausea, headache, breast tenderness, weight gain, irregular bleeding, and mood change. These side effects often subside after a few months' use. Scanty menstrual periods or breakthrough bleeding may occur, but are commonly temporary, and neither side effect is serious. Women with a history of migraines may notice an increase surrounded by migraine frequency. On the other hand, women whose migraines are triggered by fluctuations in their own hormone levels may thought improvement in migraines with oral contraceptive use because of the more uniform hormone level during oral contraceptive use. Uncommonly, oral contraceptives may contribute to increased blood pressure, blood clots, heart attack, and stroke. Source(s): http://www.healthywomen.org/healthtopics…
Weight gain, tender breasts, mood swings.
You may not gain weight. I didn't at all. Your moods will fluctuate, and possibly your sex drive. I didn't like mine. They mellowed me out so much that I didn't have much of a self, but when I stopped them, I cried all the time. If you don't like your brand, ask the doctor to switch it to a different hormone blend.
Ive just started taking the pill again after a long time off it.
So-far my skin has be playing-up a little bit because of the hormone changes in my body and I enjoy been feeling a little moody... but this pass.
When I was on it for a long time, my skin was great and my period cramp was less intense. The heaviness of my spell didnt vary as much- it was more consistent.
some people report weight-gain, but I never found that this happen... your boobs might grow about a cup-size... this doesnt happen with everyone any.
