Period quiz! Please Answer!?

i have really bad severe period cramps and the blood flow is really hefty so I decided to go to a gynecologist.
Can the doctor prescribe me medicine or birth control minus having to look up my vagina because that would make me very discomfited.
Answers:
I have a sneaking suspicion that so...my sister got birth control because instead of releasing one egg she released 10-20 so it caused her severe heavy flow and cramps...possibly thats your problem but i don't think he had to examine her.
resourcefully you let doctors check how you breath and check your tonsils and that, right? it's no different to a ob/gyn. looking up your skirt is part of their job and you've no pretext to be uncomfortable. if you are, ask your mom/a good friend to go beside you to the appointment to help ease the tension. several gynos will NOT prescribe you anything in need having a look and exploring other options first, birth control is often a later ditch effort.
YES , JUST ASK THEM
No you must start getting use to getting a pelvic exam. Its part of being a woman and must be done yearly for the rest of your time....it will get less uncomfortable as you bring to know the doctor. its really not that bad at all !
Most likely no. A law was passed some time ago truism that a PAP(looking up your vagina) has to be given to make sure you are healthy ample to go on the pill. Most states uphold this law. I HAD to have a PAP to grasp on the pill, it wasnt a choice. And most states make you have a PAP once a year if you continue using the pill. As a side memo, you may want to be checked out anyways, because my mother used to have very bad cramps and strapping bleeding, and it turned out to be cysts. If you dont have these taken care of, your chance of have children is impacted.

But I definately know how you feel, I HATE getting my PAP done. Its very uncomfortable and wierd lol
this is extremely everyday.
every girl has a different level of blood flow.
try taking midol for the cramps.
and use pads and tampons for heavier flow.
yeah, usually you just have to enlighten them your symptoms, how long they've been going on, etc., and they'll put you on birth control for it without doing an actual physical exam.
of course, this does depend on the doctor, so well-mannered luck!
Yeahh hell just recommend going on the pill & afterwards give you it.
Thats it.
you can go to similar to a clinic they can start you on birth control but after that runs out(30 day pill supply) you will have to go to your doctor and he/she will prob do a pap
