Cancer interview give or take a few my teacher mom?! Thanks!?

Ok, my favorite teacher from last year (seriously, she's like my big sister or aunt, scarcely 10 years older) just found out her mom has cancer. She is really upset (of course) because she only have her mom; no dad. I really want to get a basket together (me and other previous students too) for her mom, like a "procure better" basket, and we want to find a way to tell our tutor that if she needs any help ever for anything, we're here. I already took over and am grading papers and stuff for her when she's busy next to her mom at chemo...what else can we do?

you know, when i was reading this, the first article that popped into my head was spa day grant cards for the both of them to do together.
BUT! i dont know where you stand mu-lah wise, and if that's out of your price range.

endowment baskets are GREAT! so good thinking on that one!
as for the teacher goes, and letting her know you adjectives are there for her and care, what about getting a nice card that simply say that!

im sure anything and everything you are doing for them is being noted!

Just give her your love and support, and give her some space if she wishes it. Tell her that if she needs help or a shoulder to cry on, she can come to you.
