I'm a healthy 23 year-old. I've never taken BC pills before. My doctor suggested Yaz because I have mild acne on my chin. Yaz just this minute had a lawsuit and all the research I've done makes me verbs about taking it. The side effects and the part about it cause "birth defects" scare me. Opinions? Thoughts?

I am surrounded by washington state, and I have constantly been seeing these YAZ recall commercials on TV. They utter that you know someone who has died from Yaz, you may be entitled to a lawsuit...one of those commercials....I dont know if they show this all over the country....but if I ever see a medication announced on one of those commercials, you better believe there is no channel I am taking it.
