Will the LEEP procedure effect my fertility?
Anyways, my doctor told me that some women after they get this procedure done enjoy an early baby, which ability the baby could potentially die. I'm not planning on having a child for a LONG time, but im newly thinking about the future here. What are the likelihood I could have an early tot compared to a normal 40 week baby? Please singular answer this question if you have experience/knowledge going on for it. Thanks.
Also my doctor also told me you have to let your obstetrian know in the order of this procedure. why is that?

some flawless information here.
I got pregnant with one and the same twins 3 weeks after I had the LEEP procedure. I think I have to wait 3 weeks after the procedure to have sex, afterwards like 2 days after the 3 weeks, we had sex, and prego I become! The doctor told me it could effect fertility, but obviously, it didn't. And I had my boys at 35 weeks...and near twins 38 weeks, not 40 is really considered full term. They had undeniably no health problems. One of them has partial vertebrae that we are workign on getting straightend out (literally), but I don't consider that has anything to do with the LEEP procedure. Everyone is different though, this is simply my experience. Anyone even with out the proceedure or any other risk factors "could" own early labor. The Dr. just requests you to be fully informed. The risk is minimal, and the benefits outway the risk. If you have abnormal cell on your cervix and that is the reason for your LEEP it will be reducing your occasion for cervical cancer, which would be harder to deal with when you want to concieve. It does not effect fertility at adjectives, thats to do with ovaries not cervix
