Answers: Well, I would perhaps approach the subject in a practical, kind way. Like aphorism 'don't you worry about the bring down that tanning and smoking can do to you?'. You should be able to judge by her hostile response to this whether to take it any further or not.
If she doesn't take it big-heartedly, then drop the subject. You're her friend, and you've tried to help, but you cannot relate her how to lead her life.
If she doesn't stop and, glory forbid, has to face the potential consequences, consequently she can't blame anyone but herself.

it depends on how close is your friendship and smoking is really bad for women's and especially if she doesn't eat i presume she doesn't eat because cigarettes fills her up and that adjectives she need but you should try to get her these nutrition bar and start from there and then own lunch together and keep on doing it until she starts eating regularly and i know she would be really indebted for that and if you guys are true friend and even if she gets mad at you for unfolding her about smoking
then inwardly a week you guys will be friends again or month maximum trust me ok so don't worry about her getting batty at you ... good luck with everything
