I went gyno today on got put on Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo. She said I can start tonight, i belive, if i hear her right. I started my period two saturdays ago and its basically done, basically lil blood still. Anyways...should I do the "Day 1" pill or wait until the "Sunday" pill? I'm lil confused, if I'm ending my time of year and I'm near sunday anyways, will it even matter if I hang around till sunday if she told me I can start tonight?

I dont want my Birthcontrol to lose any effect.

Yes, the instructions and doctors suggest that you start on your period, but it is all clearly fine. When you started will definitely not have an effect on the usefulness or how it works.
