I haven't been on birth control for about a year. When I am on the pill i don't own much of an urge to have sex with my husband but when I'm not on it I own every desire and then some! So my question is what compassionate of pill is out there that will still give me that disire to enjoy sex with my husband?

Answers:    It really depends on your hormonal makeup. The best thing to do is ask your doctor and inform them that you have had this side effect. They will know which pill or which other form of birth control (such as an IUD) would be better suited for you.

I own heard though from several friends that are on Yaz that it has help with their sex drive issues. But that is with the sole purpose hearsay and not clinically proven. What worked for them may not work for you. .

Yes, loss of libido is a side-effect of the pill. So inform your doctor this so they can prescribe something different. Just keep trying until you find one that works just right for you.
