THE SMELL what is it?
Answers: Yeah, after you have a toddler it takes the whole year after to "become normal" again. Sometimes that smell comes near pregnancy and sometimes it doesn't show up until later to my knowledge. The smell is probably due to your body have to work harder to clean itself. A lot of times what you eat can end in odor to also be released "down there". I would stay away from foods known to do that like onions and cheese. I would also pinch your doc's advice and use Dove. I was using Dial (like my in one piece life) and a similar thing happened to me when I be pregnant. After I started using a milder soap -it cleared it up.
Then again, I'm not saying there isn't anything wrong. It could be another type of infection close to Gardnerella. Why don't you take that at home test they only just put out -I think Monistat is the maker and it's OTC. It test for several kinds of bacterial growth. Since your doc did test you, I bet it's sheltered to say you're ok but, you never know.
I also would remove any hair below because contained by my opinion, it sometimes holds odor.

not sure...they have special "feminine wash" or soaps that you can use, don't of late use regular soap. Too much washing can actually attribute to yeast infections which is truly the lack of a certain fungi. So in recent times about maybe every other light of day use a fem wash. You can buy that in any drug store. Other than that, wear comfy underwear specifically breathable such as cotton. It could just be the type of soap you're using, it could be anything. At different times of the month, you'll produce different discharge which smells different, so it could be that.
Instead of using Dove soap, I would use something like Simple so it doesn't affect you pH.
It's a shame the gynaecologist didn't impart you an answer..
I've heard this many times in the past. The cause is usually difficult to find. Have you tried douching with vinegar and wet, or one of the over-the-counter products, or the sprays? The answer is out there. It's up to you to keep probing for a gynecologist who will help you. Don't give up. Make phone call and get second and third opinions until you find the answer you requirement.
Does wearing a deodorant tampon help? Is this worse after sexual intercourse? Maybe it's not you. It might be the odor from your partner's semen.
TM.
it might just be from have your children. it could be a piece of the placenta left behind or anything else like that. try some feminent deorderent spray and see if that helps. Hormonal change. You might try a vinegar and water douche..
