Answers: I was 16 and surrounded by a long term relationship. We broke up when I was 19. I be sexually active at the time. I got my birth control through planned motherliness, but a few months after I started I got very in poor health and have been for 4 years, and at that point my gyno put me on birth control as treatment for one of my conditions. So that turned out other. I have been on 4 different birth controls over the years, because they any become ineffective (not ineffective as a form of birth control, but i start bleeding continually) or they make the pain of my conditions worse. I devise there is a different appropriate age for every woman. It is a responsible decision if you are sexually involved, but you should still use a condom if you are having sex and not in a massively committed relationship with someone who has just now been tested. I was 13 when I be put on Birth Control the first time. I had irregular periods from sunshine one. I had 2 surgeries to stop my period in the first year I started. I wasn't sexually active or "dating" anyone. When I first started on the pill, I was really off-colour but I eventually became regular with the pill.
