my dr is considering switching me from seasonale to lybrel the seasonale is working great never had too much spotting at all I've be on it about 2 and a half years but my period are still painful she says lybrel u own no periods, I hear there's alot of breakthrough bleeding but I never really had any so I be wondering since I had no spotting on seasonale that I was most predictable not going to have any on the lybrel thanks

I switched from Seasonale to Lybrel and it be a disaster! I had no spotting or breakthrough on 2 years of Seasonale. With Lybrel, it was spotting every 4th or 5th afternoon at first, then like full days of bleeding, sometimes like a real time of year for days at a time. I have switched back to Seasonale after individual 3 months on Lybrel. I do not recommend Lybrel.

If you didn't have any spotting on Seasonale, then you should be fine beside Lybrel. And if you did get some, it probably would be any more than once every few months.
