Sign of pregnancy or symptom of taking morning after pill?
Answers: More than likely the spotting be due to the overdose of hormones which triggered a small breakthrough bleed. There is no way to know just even so if you are pregnant or if the Plan B was effective. Your regular cycle should develop right on time, and that's the soonest you could take a home pregnancy try-out to be accurate. The Plan B works by preventing implantation, partially by making the uterine lining frosty. In most cases it works as advertized- there's no way to be absolutley certain though- not until your subsequent cycle is due. Until then you simply have to keep on. Chances are pretty good you aren't- you were not surrounded by the zone to ovulate when the break occured, and the Plan B does actually do what it claims to do the majority of the time. Stressing over it will also likely deferral the cycle, so try to stay chilled while you wait. On the day you are due to start you can try a HPT beside the first morning urine, and get a pretty reliable result. I'd expect to get a denial.
You wouldn't know that soon after having sex if you were pregnant.
I surmise it's just a side effect. Look it up on the net or read the instructions that come with the pack. When i took it i felt sick, but the chemist said there's a long register of side effects (not all of which will certainly happen).
