She's on the Depo shot and her term won't stop
Answers: It is totally normal and expected to bleed constantly during the first three months on the Depo shot. After she get her second shot, the bleeding will probably stop and she will most likely not get her term again for as long as she's on the Depo. There's no reason to see the doctor unless the bleeding is very heavily built, and to be honest, the doctor who gave her the shot should have told her that this would be an expected side effect..
Nope, it won't stop until the shot is out of her system. I HATED that shot! It did alike thing to me. I bled for 3 freakin' months. Some women just can't switch it. Tell her to talk to her doctor. She will have to use a different form of BC after the shot wear off. The excessive bleeding can cause issues resembling anemia. She needs to talk to her doctor. GL! i switched for that same rationale but on depo its normal to have bleeding approaching that. at least until ur body gets used to the shot..so idk. i get off of it cuz it could cause problems..and if yall plan on conceiving any time soon it will prevent that for a while..perfect luck.
"She" will bleed on and off until "she" gets her subsequent injection. Then the bleeding will usually stop until the Depo is no long taken. if it goes on for much longer i would go see the doctor because it could be serious.
