If you aren't okay with hearing nearly a strangers breasts then don't read on.

I felt something on the inside of my breast close to the bed and I think it might be a lump. It could be my sternum (it feels easier said than done...) but I don't feel it on the other side... It also feels discomfited (but not painful) now that I've pressed it.

I know that the correct course of action is to see a doctor so please don't suggest that (and I have a breast exam with a normal physical contained by January... would anything have been competent to develop since then?) I am looking for suggestions of what I can do immediately (something approaching finding the line of the sternum so that i can feel if this is portion of it? or a way to tell if the lump is in truth a lump?) to understand if there is any make happen for concern, so that I can relax about this until I see a doctor.

the sternum is between your breasts.. so the lump you feel if it is on the sternum is where on earth your esophagus is your food pipe. goes all the agency down to about 3 cm below your breast is the end of the sternum contained by the middle at the end is mainly cartillage...your sternum is flat;.. gone and right at the lower part of the sternum your ribs are left and right of it.. and only below the sternum is your diaphragm...and your stomach on the left more.. your sternum is made of protective bone to protect your heart and inner organs. a lump in the animal is in the beast in general the size of a pea and feels hard or sometimes lumps beneath the armpits...but in the breast the soft tissue if there is a lump next see a doctor. .. the sternum is not where breasts are it's between them.xxx
