Miscarriage problems????????

My younger sister has recently suffered a miscarriage, she didn't find this out until she have her 12 week scan as she had no previous signs of a miscarriage. Apparently the fetus stopped growing at 7 weeks. Since then she have had a tablet to help induce the fetus and she bleed for 5 weeks after this. She go back for a scan and the hospital has since suggested that she own surgery to remove the remaing tissue as she wasn't naturally passing adjectives the clotting. She had the op last weekend, which apparently go successfully. However since then she has have a very heavy extent like bleeding. Just wondered if this was commonplace at all as i thought the whole point of have an op was to remove all clotting. Just getting a moment or two worried as she has been bleeding for a total of 7 weeks immediately, Does this seem right? As i haven't been through this myself until that time i thought ur views would help comfort her. Thanks!

Answers:    Please travel and see a doctor ASAP. This may be an indication of complications in her womb or vaginal walls. But we are not the experts, bu the doctors.

This can be considered as normal, if she single bleeding happens in first two days. You you said seven weeks! Please walk and see a doctor ASAP..
not sure. i think you should ask the doctor. they'll be happy to give a hand, espeically after a big operation . :D
