Mirena Coil..? Anyone???
Just wondering if I am the individual one who had trouble with it!?

Answers: I have have 3 Mirena coils and different experiences with each one. 1st time my body tried to expel it and I have lots of pain and bleeding. 2nd time I bled for about 3 weeks after no periods for 5 years after that then 3rd time I have loads of lower back pain so have it removed after about 18 months. It may well be worth giving it a fate depending on how long you have actually persevere with it..
Many women have issues next to the coil, specially if your nulliparous (have not had children) although the Mirena coil can be used if you haven't had children I presume. Many women experience cramps and bleeding too that does not go away. But I think the majority of women, from what i own read, find this method of BC good. Like most things, it may not suit everyone I've had mine since July 2004. No problems until a moment ago few months ago-started getting cysts and having lots of bleeding. Loved having no period and not having to take pills. Good luck near getting taken out. I'm nervous about that piece. Let me know how that goes--I haven't seen too many posts on here give or take a few that part--Only one or two positive experiences about that:) .
I have have Mirena for almost 3 years. I love it. No more heavy painful period or PMS. I hope you feel better after getting yours out. never heard of it
