My daughter has endometriosis...she has have surgery 4 times the Dr. removed one ovary last time..,.,getting ready for surgery again...surgery does not exact it to spread...it just naturally plops(that is what her Dr call it) anywhere...she is only 22...There is not a way to prevent it from spreading.she have been on all types of medication.
