I have had regular menstrual period for 15 years I am 25 and have 2 children. This month my period come a week early and has last longer then any period I hold ever had.Before my period I also notice a change in discharge which have increased. I am not on birth control. I'm not sure whats happening.

Does the birth control patch really work ?

Many things can affect your period: stress, sickness, freshly plain hormones. Track your next couple periods and if the problem persist then go see your doctor. Have them check your hormone level to see if everything is o.k.
