If my primary doctor prescribes me birth control do i still hold to see a gyno?

i know ur suppose to see a gyno but if i go to my primary doctor 1st are they going to make me see a gyno? my mom said once i start bc ego have to see a gyno once a year..but come on aren't there culture who are on bc and dont see a gyno?

Answers:    There are people on birth control that was prescribed from their GP (general practitioner), but I discourage this. You should capture it from your gyno because he/she knows what they're looking at. GP's only twig the principles of how the female system works. Gyno's keep you surrounded by check with the right birth control and make sure you're not have any other problems that can occur. Hope this helps, stay clean.

you don't just go to the gyno for birth control you be in motion there to make sure that everything is ok.
