If you're having pretty strong cramps, Advil/Motrin/or any other form of "ibuprofen" will actually be more successful. Unfortunately, it's a blood thinner, and may make you bleed slightly more. It is also a impossible idea to take this if you enjoy upper-digestive system problems since it can be hard on the stomach. Still...if you don't have those problems, ibuprofen is the best since it target muscle tissue and relaxes them better than any other over the counter pain medication. As for other treatments, try side-ward stretches, warm baths/showers, and drinking plenty of river. You can actually clear away muscular bloating by drinking water -- as ironic as that sounds. In some society, reducing caffeine intake may also help. Most times bad cramps are cause by a very thick flow. Your uterus have to work/push harder to empty. Exercise like walking and man up and about help things to move along lacking so much effort by the uterus. Sitting curled up in a globe, though it is all you may want to do, is the worst thing you can do. Get up and move around. Stretch out and I found ibuprofen to work channel better than tylenol. Midol never did anything for me at all.
If you really can't handle it, see your gynecologist. There are prescription medication including some birth control drugs that can ease these symptoms too..
Girlfriend, I know where you are coming from - desperate cramps ruined so many events, dates, etc. for me when I be younger. You need to take an over the counter strain med that contains ibuprophen. This chemical works to combat chemicals in your body that cause cramping. It is not found contained by aspirin or tylenol. You get it in drugs such as Advil. If you are "regular", try taking the Advil a morning or two before your period even starts.
I after that was diagnosed with both fibroid tumors and other problems, BUT switching to Advil really did support me.
Good luck!.
There are a couple things that have worked for me.
(I use to have severe cramps too)
1) Track your period on a calender so you know when your period is coming and a day or two formerly the start day take a couple IBP every 5 hours.
Then the light of day your period starts take 3 every 5 hours.
And verbs this regimen through the days of your period.
(Its safe.. my doctor said it was)
2) See your doctor to be put on a birth control resembling Ortho Tri Cycline
that reduces your cramps and helps run down acne..
I'm assuming these cramps are from your period? A heating wad or a hot shower with the water focused on where on earth the cramps are has always be a quick solution for me and for some reason my mother other told me to drink lots of raspberry tea because its supposed to help with cramps too. I'm not sure that it certainly does anything medically though.
If the cramps are really intense, I suggest talking to your doctor about a birth control pill to oblige or even painkillers. Aleve helps me better than tylenol. Try taking Aleve then four hours subsequent tylenol and keep alternating them. A heating wad also helps alot! Probably more than anything else does. I use to get them really doomed to failure when I was around 16 and 17 and if I couldn't find a heating wad I would literally go sit inside a hot car, wierd I know but it really did relief..
I know exactly how you feel, it's hard to believe folks go through that once a month! Try soaking in a hot hip bath, to relax the muscles. You could try hot patches, they stay hot for up to eight hours. It could help for a moment. If none of these things help ease they distress, you may have to go the birth control route. I've be on Yaz and it has done wonders. I haven't had symptoms since. I other use a rice pack.. you heat it up for a couple minutes and than set it on your worst cramping parts.. and it should go away. and if you don't hold a rice pack.. get a towel really warm and set it on in attendance. that should help. .
Drink chamomile tea before, during and after menstruation to prevent cramp, strain, cramps, bloating, gas and discomfort. A Chiropractic adjustment will eliminate cramps. Also try Motrin instead of Tylenol..
Warm ginger tea..
Try midol instead of tylenol
Heating pad on your stomach or lower pay for
Stay away from any caffeine or things with a lot of brackish..
pamprin max works wonders! but before using that try regular pamprin... Try a warm tub, a heating pad, or try midol. .
Midol extra strength, afford it a chance to kick surrounded by then go lug a HOT bath to try and sooth away the cramps! have you tried the hot patch for sore muscles they really help with the cramps or a heated wad..
Poop. You need to poop. pamprin and a heatpack.
