Help terribly desperate cramps

I'm 16 years old and i have an irregular length.when i get my period i draw from severe cramps.i have tried midol and it doesn't work do you guys have any suggestions?i draw from cramps the whole four days I'm on my period

Answers:    So do I. I use a pill call panadine and it helps me through the worst pain. Go to your doctor so that you can take the best pill for you. Also, I put a hot water bottle on my stomach and the heat soothes the anguish a bit. If you try that, be careful to wrap the bottle in a towel to prevent any burning..
I used to be exactly alike way. I had horrible period and for the first 2 days of it I would have unbelievably horrible cramps, bloating, and in some cases nausea. My mom took me to the doctor and they done up putting me on birth control pills. Once I started taking them I noticed a huge difference in the style I felt during my period. It made it lighter and more regular and it took away the nausea. It even help with my acne. But more importantly it took away the bad cramps. I used to own to pop pill after pill during my period and it wouldn't do anything for me. Not even a heating wad helped. But after I started taking the pills I could take 1 or 2 Motrin pills the first morning of my term and the cramps would be gone all day. So my direction to you is to go to the doctor and let them know what's going on and that you would close to to try birth control for the problem. They will make a huge difference for you and it has worked for everyone I know of that have tried it. Good luck. Pamprin works for some people who Midol doesn't help. When I'm out of Midol, I trade name my own "cocktail" by taking one ibuprofen, one acetaminophen (half a dose of each) and drinking something caffeinated. I ALWAYS find that caffeine helps my cramps to be less severe. If you are truly surrounded by pain and incapacitated to the point that you are shaky or find it difficult to sit through class, you should talk to your parents nearly making an appointment with a gynecologist and possibly starting on birth control to regulate your periods and variety them liveable. I know a few girls who are on birth control for medical reasons like that, and it have made a huge improvement in how they're competent to function during "hell week.".
I used to have the same problem when I be your age. The only thing that help me was to lie facade down with my tush raised up. What I discovered (years after that!) was that I have what's call a "tipped" uterus. So, the act of making it tip forward was what help with the cramps. Talk to your doc about that as a possibility and see what else they may recommend. Good report is that once I had kids, the cramps disappeared. (Don't take this as recommend to run out and have a baby, please! :) ) my sister get that too...
she takes these pills whenever it starts to hurt called naprogesic.

Bad interval pain is a regognised medical condition so speak to your doc who will help u dont be embarassed.
You can carry better pain medicine from your doctor. But if you don't want to do that try exercising or jog. Exercise usually helps me when I have really doomed to failure cramps. Put a heating pad on your belly. Or a hot wet bottle.

Do a little exercise. Maybe some stretches. Jogging helps me.

Hope you quality better soon!*.
Try a heating pad and freshly lay there for an hour with it... try ibuprofen (an anti inflammatory)... Maybe a hot shower.
Hope you get the impression better soon! What helps my cramps is ibuprofen. I take 4-200mg table (800 mg total) about every 4 hours. It is the only entry that works for me..
My friends have gotten birth control for that.

But i wouldnt recommend it. .
Fill a sandwich bag near hot water and place it on the area. You'll be fine! use grandmas heat pad and take a doze with it on your stomach. its AMAZING.
