Has anyone hear of anyone powerless to use birth control because of mortal really obese?

has anyone heard of that? I be told that by a doctor. I don't know if she was telling the truth or lately having something against overweight people. I know i'm overweight but what does that enjoy to do with my reproductive organs? they are the same size as any other women

Answers:    I'm obese and enjoy seen a couple different OB/GYNs who never said anything about that to me. I enjoy been on 5 different birth control pills in former times and am on the depo shot now and have never have any problems. I know that with birth control pills you have a slightly sophisticated risk of blood clots, etc., but if you don't have a family history of these things, you shouldn't be at as dignified a risk as if you did. I would get a second opinion from another doctor to be sure..
First of adjectives, the pill have many cautions--esp. inhabitants with blood pressure or clotting problems. Overweight people enjoy tendencies to have large blood pressure--not all, but it's typical with high-ranking weight. ALSO, you have to remember that dosages of medication must be proportionate to mass because of how your body metabolizes things and how much it takes to be effective differs depending on your solidity (just like a very tiny being might get drunk off 2 bottles of beer, but an overweight individual might not), and pills do NOT have much variation within dosages for the effective ingredients. These are just some things to consider surrounded by understanding. But you can google the topic to also see if you can learn more. It's not the size of the reproductive organs, it's the certainty that you have more body mass so the effectiveness might be lowered beside oral or injected contraception. Since birth control also puts you at higher risk for stroke, and so does obesity, she might in recent times be looking out for your best interests and not have anything against you. .
It's absolutely true.

Obesity almost other includes high blood pressure, and that's *the* most important source a doctor wouldn't prescribe the stuff. Taking hormonal contraceptives with high blood pressure can (it's be documented well for decades) greatly increase your already higher than conventional risk of clotting, heart attack and stroke.

EDIT:
You don't have high blood pressure? It's none of my business, but what be the numbers the last time it was checked?.
It doesn't enjoy anything to do with your reproductive organs, it has more to do next to your blood pressure and your health.
BC pills have a great deal of side effects, the occurrences of those side effects greatly increase with seriously of factors, one of them is obesity.
Talk to your doctor around what you can do in order to lift them safely, most likely you will obligation to lose weight. Good luck.
but whats the problem...do you want a baby or dont want a little one?? obese/overweight people are less fertile than others. its a certainty, nothin to do with the size of your reproductive organs (which are probably big anyway). dont take your frustation out on your doc! Of course it's true - why would the doctor fib!!?? The contraceptive pill should not be taken with anyone with a history of heart disease, clogging of arteries, thrombosis or corpulence.it can cause clots to travel to the heart..
The amount of protection that you have from the hormones is smaller quantity due to excessive weight. Try seeing a different doctor. There has to be some form of birth control they can recommend.

Good luck!.
YES ITS TRUE AS PEOPLE ON THE PILL ESPECIALLY THE OLD GENERATION PILLS OFTEN GAIN WEIGHT AS A SIDE EFFECT. STUDIES HAVE ALSO SHOWN THAT THE NEW GENEATION PILLS WORK BETTER ON THIN PEOPLE DUE TO THEIR LOW DOSE.
