Hard lump appeared contained by breast?
hi, almost 2 weeks ago a lump the size of a grape just appeared under the skin contained by my left breast infront of where my heart is. I finished breastfeeding 5 weeks up to that time that and thought it was a milk duct blocked. I went to the doctor end week and she gave me a course of antibiotics (4 a day) at that time the skin was red and it be painfull to touch (like a bruise) she said it should be gone in a week. I went rear today and its still there, its the same size and it moves roughly but its not sore at all now she told me to wipe it and it might dispurse (but its like a stone) she told me to call contained by a week and if its still there I will be refered to a breast doctor. Has anyone had a similar experiance deportment in mind the breastfeeding and what was the outcome? gratefulness

Might be a cyst...if it moves than this is possible...a blocked sweat gland basically. Dangerous lumps do not move when you prod them. If its a cyst than you either enjoy to wait for it to go down or get hold of it surgically removed but this leaves a scar...do not try and squeeze it if it is and it will just capture reinfected and keep coming back.

Sounds approaching mastitis. Pretty common when breastfeeding. It is an infection. If it was cancer it wouldn't move, it'd be close to a pebble or rock that didn't move. The skin above that area might be puckered too, like ginger skin.
If i cud achieve professional help out from a doc that specializes surrounded by women that wud b great! crushing press?!?
My gynae told me the same thing - blocked milk duct and I be on antibiotics for a week, during which I couldn't breastfeed. The hardness and pain go off after about 10 days.
