an easier way to business with something like that than near your parents, is to go to your school counselor. They will hold things between the two of you and provide healthy options for you roughly recovery, and also seeking help outside of university and admitting your problems to people around you, similar to parents etc. It seems as though many other students know give or take a few it, if they are giving you nicknames and such, so it might help to clear up to someone who can really work to help you get better.
