My girlfriend missed her pill while she was away from home and this caused an untimely period. She has finished menstruating in a minute but we don't know if she should finish last month's pack or just star a alien month of pills. Does anyone know whats best? Does it matter either style?

My advice would be to start a new pack and return with your cycle back into sync. This is one way of shifting the date of menstration so that you dont have a period while on holiday etc but not to be used delicately.

well if she missed a pill sooner or later... she would have needed to have taken 2 pills the following year. If she did this... then the effectiveness of the pills have not been reduced. Anyway, to answer your question... she should stay on track and finish her pack. Start the different pack on time regardless of her menstration cycle... it will go put money on to normal after a month or two.
