Does thrush travel away by itself?
Answers: I hear what you are saying by not wanting to take meds. Have you tried lactobacillus acidophillus? It is not a med but a supplement. IT is the helpful ingredient in yogurt highly concentrated. Works wonders. Keep the chewable wafers contained by the fridge this helps them last longer. When my kids catch diaper rash I pump these into them and rash (candidia or yeast) clears up. I am severely wary of meds and have even gone to a homeopathic doc for years. The l. acidophillus can be bought at Target, Walmart, Vitamin shop, or pharmacy.

Thrush is not cause by a ph imbalance, it is caused by an inconsistency of yeast and the good bacteria you enjoy down there. When the yeast gets out of mitt and the good bacteria no longer keep it in check, you develop thrush. If you have a extraordinarily severe case, you probably will need medication. But up to that time you go that route, it is helpful to try things that will increase the right bacteria so it can do its job of slaughter off the yeast. That's why the person above me recommended l.acidophilus. I have thrush in my breasts while nursing and I took acidophilus several times every day and did other non-medicine things and it cleared up. So, I would try the acidophilus and see how that works and after if it doesn't go away, try some kind of medication.Yeast infections don't commonly go away by themselves. You need something to match the pH down there, which is why you have this infection to initiate with. They make medication now you can by over the counter, though, and usually doctors visits arent other necessary.

wen i get thrush 'down below' (nice sentance for it btw), i use this cream my mum get me on the outside 2 stop the itching, then it just clears up by itself.its call Canesten, ask ur mum 2 get sum for u! its really common 2 take, so dont feel embarressed tellin ur mum!
I've used yogurt. It may take longer. I find thrush in my mouth frequently and the yogurt helps. Never tried it contained by the lower region though. Always went for the monistat.

Depends on the scope of the infection. If your symptoms don't lessen after just a few days, you should definitely procure medicine!
