I went to the doctors last Monday beside, burning when urinating, frequent but little urination. I took a urine sample and the doctor said it had protein and blood within. She prescribed a three-day course of antibiotics, the infection cleared and symptoms went. But, the day after I stopped taking the antibiotics the stomach-ache came back contained by the afternoon. I went again to the doctors, with another urine taste, I enquired about sti’s but she said ‘no I presume it is a uti still, however, I shall give you a stronger week course of different antibiotics and if it doesn’t clear up after that, we shall see about other possible reasons’. I am two days into the tablets. I have sex yesterday, which was painful, and since I muse it has aggravated my vagina and its now red and itchy and moderately sore. I urinated before and after sex as advised. Therefore I be wondering about whether the infection could be thrush. Urine's also cloudy.

P.S. I have have a chlamydia test and it was clear.

Your Doctor is probably right, it sounds remarkably much like a urinary tract infection, on occasion one course of antibiotics does not other clear it up, so a second course is sometimes needed. Personally I would leave sex at the moment, as you say, it have aggravated the vagina. Continue taking the antibiotics, and if you still feel uncomfortable budge back and see your Doctor, you have to be especially careful with urinary tract infections, if vanished untreated the infection can go to your kidneys. The pill . . . . .?

Sounds similar to a uti, dont have vaginal sex until you are done with your weekly pills. Thrush is a yeast infection, and when i have it it was in my mouth so i dont conjecture it would have anything to do with it. Take your weeks worth of pills and see if it clears up, it worked for me. Sex can aggravate and even motive utis also drink lots of fluids (cranberry juice or anything acidic) because it helps remove the germs and dont have sex, it pushes the bacteria spinal column up. some women are more prone to utis and i know right now that peeing is painful but try to do it everytime you hold sex, both before and most definatly absolutly after as preventitive care within the future.
