I was shocked to hear that my friend's 15 yr. old daughter is taking shots of deprovera to stop her period so that she doesn't have acne or have any risk of pregnancy. Have any of you have negative side effects from taking this? And isn't 15 too young to be messing near the regularity of periods?

yeah definately to young conceivably she is better off with the pill depo can really mess her up beside weight gain and she can get even more acne or don't return with any at all and no periods that can be a blessing first but a curse next i am on it currently my first time i took it but getting off it because all the unenthusiastic thing i have read yeah its true i own had no real period only spotting but mood swings are terrible and i hold gain 15 lbs in 1.5 months i am going to try pills or the nuvaring but for a while i will go lacking any birth control and just use condoms because i need to seize back to may normal solidity anyways yeah your friend is to young she need to read more on these type of stuff back she decide to take it more
